Emily grew up in the Green Mountains of Stowe, Vermont . After graduating from American University with a degree in Law and Society, she moved to Sitka as a Jesuit Volunteer at Sitkans Against Family Violence. Throughout her service year, she developed a deep gratitude for Sitka through trail running, wild food harvesting, and simply observing how the Tongass breathes life into the community. Currently, she is pursuing her degree in Environmental Justice through Vermont Law School. She is excited to continue her journey in Sitka and is sincerely looking forward to working at SCS and with the 4-H program.
