Kendall hails from Seattle and Poulsbo, Washington, but grew up visiting her family, The Hitchcocks, every summer in Sitka. She studied Film and English at Colorado College, working at the Sitka Fine Arts Camp during her summer recesses. She dreamt of the mist and salt of the Southeast every day while living in desert hell at 7,000 feet of altitude, and took on a documentary film assignment in Juneau as soon as she graduated. She has spent most of the last year living out of her Honda CRV in the lower 48, logging 180 solo driving hours in five months, so it’s safe to say that she is enjoying having a home base in Sitka. When she’s not working, she enjoys getting stuck on those rocks right by the Science Center, reading Harry Potter with her 9 and 5 year-old cousins, unicycling with Cindy, and making music videos with her insanely talented friends.
