Sitka Conservation Society’s annual meeting will take place virtually Sunday, February 21st, 5 to 6pm AKST.
Normally, we use our annual meeting as an opportunity to gather, meet staff, celebrate accomplishments from the previous year, and hear from staff about the projects, issues, and advocacy opportunities in the year ahead. Due to ongoing precautionary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we will not be hosting an in-person gathering at the Mean Queen. Instead, we’ll be convening on Zoom, where staff and board members will be present to announce the board election results, conduct official business, and answer any questions you may have.
Because this year’s meeting will be held via Zoom, we will send ballots to members and request they be returned by February 20th, one day before the annual meeting.
While we wish we could meet in person, we are looking forward to sharing some of the incredible projects and partnerships we have worked on over the past year, and the work to come. You can read about some of the projects SCS has worked on in the past year here.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend! For more information email us at ryan@sitkawild.org.
