Years of Living Dangerously

Join the Sitka Global Warming Group on Thursday, December 8 at 6pm at Harrigan Centennial Hall for a showing and discussion of the latest episode of the award winning series Years of Living Dangerously, produced by National Geographic.

The showing of this episode is sponsored by Sitka’s nascent chapter of Citizen’s Climate Lobby (CCL) , a committee of the Sitka Global Warming Group. CCL will be featured in the episode. Introduced by the organization’s founder Marshall Saunders, an active citizen’s lobbyist for 17 years as a member of RESULTS, CCL was founded in 2007 and has numerous national and international chapters. Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a non-profit, non-partisan, grassroots advocacy organization focused on national policies to address climate change. The organization is lobbying for the introduction of a single, market-based piece of legislation that numerous environmental and climate organizations are supporting. Please join us and become part of a constructive way forward.
