Lee House

This is Lee’s second summer working as a creative storyteller through Alaska Conservation Foundation’s Internship Program, and it his first summer in Sitka! Lee’s deep-rooted passion for creative pursuits and the outdoors have led him to experiences such as leading backpacking trips for middle schoolers, to several seasons as a conservation trail crew leader in the Pacific Northwest, to designing a New England-based adventure magazine, and last summer as a media storyteller for the Southeast Alaska Conservation Council — producing short video stories of Southeast Alaskan relationships with wildly harvested seafood. Lee is looking forward to another summer of documenting and creating compelling media pieces that thread environmental and social narratives together in Southeast Alaska.
