Sitka Kitch is a turn-key kitchen rental facility. We serve as a business incubator and community resource center by providing rental access to a certified commercial kitchen.

About the Kitch Facility

The Kitch is maintained to DEC certification standards for commercial kitchens in the State of Alaska. The Kitch features two commercial sized propane ovens, a commercial dishwasher, ample sink and counter space, and keyless entry for clients. Please note: the Kitch only satisfies the DEC facility requirements for food production. Depending on the product you wish to create and sell, other permits may be required. Please visit the DEC website for more information.

Rental of the Kitch also includes use of 'Latta Hall', a large flex space adjacent to the kitch. This space is ideal for setting up a classroom or prep stations, as well as tasting stations. The Kitch is also ideal for hosting small, personal parties or developing pop-up restaurants.

As we grow, we will be adding to our equipment offerings. If you have any ideas about the Kitch and equipment please contact us! Sitka Kitch is interested in providing all of the resources needed to help local businesses develop food products. Sitka is rich in natural resources and creativity; we hope to see that culminate in new ideas and products that add to our food system and support the community.
