Kevan O'Hanlon - Living with the Land and Building Community Jesuit Volunteer

Kevan grew up in Northern Illinois and graduated in 2018 from Saint Louis University with a degree in Environmental Science/Conservation Biology. While studying, Kevan spent her time documenting the agricultural landscape of Missouri, running through Forest Park, and discovering the many places to find good tacos in St. Louis. Kevan has spent her summers exploring the diverse forests and ecosystems of the Midwest and sharing her love of natural systems and experiential learning as an outdoor educator. She is passionate about sustainable living, environmental justice, and in the intersection of these topics with community needs and health. She is excited to be in Sitka and to be working with SCS as a Jesuit Volunteer and can’t wait to learn and work with the community this year!
